Job Description

Purpose:
  1. The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening distribution partnerships, and increasing market share for Singapore Airlines within an assigned portfolio of travel trade, corporate, OTA, MICE/Groups, ITCs and/or consolidator accounts.
  2. The role focuses on commercial strategy execution, relationship management, market development, and brand representation, in line with Singapore Airlines’ premium positioning.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Relationship Building
  • Manage and grow a defined portfolio of travel agents, corporate clients, OTAs, Groups & MICE, ITCs and strategic partners
  • Build strong, trusted relationships at decision-making and booking influencer levels
  • Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, joint sales visits, and account reviews
  • Act as the primary brand ambassador for Singapore Airlines in the market

Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, yield, market share, and traffic targets
  • Drive sales across priority routes, cabins, and strategic campaigns
  • Identify new business opportunities, untapped accounts, and growth segments (corporate, leisure, VFR, premium, students, niche etc.)
  • Promote ancillaries, premium products, and value-added services to increase total revenue
     
Trade Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Implement sales and marketing initiatives, fare campaigns, tactical offers, and product launches
  • Work closely with Marketing and Partnerships teams on joint promotions, incentives, and tactical activations
  • Support events such as trade roadshows, awards events, training sessions, and familiarisation trips
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements
     
Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, distribution performance, and consumer behaviour
  • Provide regular market feedback and insights to Sales Manager
  • Support route development and network initiatives through data-driven recommendations
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting sales performance
     
Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account plans
  • Track performance against targets and KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, pricing policies, and agreements
  • Use systems (SMT, Tableau) and internal platforms effectively

Salary

Negotiable based on experience

Required Qualifications

  • Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–5+ years’ experience in airline sales, travel industry, tourism, or aviation
  • Strong understanding of GDS, fare structures, and airline distribution (advantageous)
  • Experience managing trade or corporate accounts preferred

Working hours - 8:30-5:00 - Monday to Friday
