Wholesale Tour Operator is looking for a proactive, resilient person who is able to work under pressure, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
You will play a critical role in building competitive travel products, negotiating commercially viable agreements, protecting profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across the business.
Minimum 5 years’+ experience within the outbound leisure travel industry with strong Product, Contracting, and Supplier negotiation exposure.
This is not a junior role and requires someone with strong commercial understanding and industry maturity.
Must understand the operational and financial impact of contracting decisions within a Tour Operator / Wholesale environment.
It is a highly operational, commercially focused role requiring strong supplier relationship management, negotiation ability, product knowledge, and contracting experience.
Strong international destination knowledge is essential. Must have extensive knowledge of international leisure destinations, hotels, transfer products, touring products, and market trends.
Previous experience negotiating rates and commercial agreements with international suppliers, DMCs, hotels, and travel partners is non-negotiable.
Must be commercially minded, confident in supplier negotiations, and comfortable managing contractual discussions.
Proven experience compiling travel packages and building commercially competitive travel product. This includes packaging accommodation, flights, transfers, excursions, value-adds, and promotional offers into attractive, marketable leisure packages.
Must understand market trends, competitor positioning, and pricing strategies in order to create compelling and competitive packages that drive sales and profitability.
A strong understanding of costing, margins, market appeal, and product differentiation is essential
Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy are critical. This role deals with rates, allocations, special offers, stop sales, contract clauses, cancellation terms, supplements etc.
Strong analytical and numerical ability is required. Must be comfortable working with margins, mark-ups, costing structures, promotional calculations, and profitability analysis.
System experience within a Tour Operator / Wholesale environment is highly advantageous.
Experience with contracting systems, rate loading, reservations systems, and Excel reporting is important.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) are essential. The role requires professional communication with both internal teams and international suppliers.
