Job Description

• Build and maintain costing models for Small Group Journey’s for East and Southern Africa
• Build and Maintain costings for the DMC’s Idea book Journey’s for East and Southern Africa
• Build and Maintain any 3rd party external agent’s brochure requests
• Manage the DMC Fam trip process – Rate negotiations to operations
• Data Migration from current to new system
• Migration support – Systems and Operations

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in inbound tourism or travel contracting
• Familiarity with East and Southern African destinations and suppliers
• Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills for costing models, margin analysis, and supplier rate sheets
• Skilled in contract analysis, database management and advanced Excel reporting in a Systems environment.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Experience in Travel Studio Database management or similar – an advantage
• Proven ability to build strong professional relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience working with FITs, groups, and series tours
