Job Description

Contract- 2 Years

Plans, supervises, monitors and controls activities in ticket office and at the airport. Assists Area/Traffic/Airport Manager in handling operational and administrative matters.

Required Qualifications

 BA Degree in Management /Accounting /Business Management/ Economics/ Marketing Management/ Management Information System/ Business Administration/ Economics & Finance/ Business Administration & Information System/ English Language & Literature or any related field of Study from a recognized college/university and Completion of College trainee program for this position or a minimum of 2-year experience in ET

OR

A Minimum of College Diploma/10+3//Level III Certificate in the above mentioned or related field or any related field of Study from recognized TVET/College/University and SOM graduate with minimum of four years’ experience in ET/Cabin Crew graduate with a Minimum of three years’ work experience in flight

General Details

• Organizes and supervises passenger check-in, air freight handling, ramp handling, reservation and ticketing activities.
• Deploys the resources required for the daily sales & operational activities.
• Supervises the boarding and disembarkation of passengers and the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo.
• Ensures that passengers, cargo, and mail are received and properly ticketed, billed and handled and that the necessary records and reports are prepared
• Coordinates and assists in the preparation of annual budget.
• Plans, supervises, and controls ramp activities.
• Supervises Ticket Offices in selling Ethiopian services to customers.
• Develops Ticket Agents in their efficiency, enthusiasm and interest in the customers’ needs and acquaints them with tariff manuals, rules and regulations of Ethiopian and other airlines manuals. 
• Protects usage of Ethiopian accountable forms in accordance with the Company policy
• Performs other duties from time to time as assigned by the Area Manager.
