Job Description
Purpose
Effectively manage all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting, to RFP, up to execution of contract. Ensure a healthy pipeline is maintained in line with annual, budgeted forecasts. Represent ATPI in the South Africa/Africa sales environment.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Seek successful opportunities through development and networking stages
- Contribute to building a robust sales pipeline
- Establish early stage relationships with key decision makers
- Offer innovative and strategic solutions to prospect clients
- Ensure that ATPI is well known and recognized for its expertise and technology solutions
- Adopt a consultative approach with clients and prospects and provide intelligence on industry standards
- Stay abreast of industry developments to help inform the client or prospect of future changes that will affect their travel program
- Support implementations on new business as required
- Identify and engage in marketing and networking initiatives to boost brand presence
- Maintain accurate records in company designated databases

Required Qualifications
- You have several years’ experience in understanding customer needs and aligning these with the goals and strategy of the organization
- You have a strong, commercial background gained through many years of exposure to the travel industry and its client base
- You can confidently engage with prospect clients and key decision makers
- You are able to combine effective communication skills with detailed product knowledge to identity commercial opportunities that create real commercial value.
- You have a strong business acumen and understand financial measurements in relation to client performance and trading.
