Job Description
- Handle end-to-end travel bookings (air, accommodation, car hire, transfers, cruises, and visas).
- Provide accurate travel quotations and itineraries to clients.
- Amend, reissue, and cancel bookings as required.
- Ensure tickets and travel documents are issued correctly and timeously.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other suppliers.
- Manage corporate travel accounts and adhere to client travel policies.
- Resolve travel-related issues and provide after-hours or emergency support when required.
- Maintain accurate booking records, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Upsell travel products such as insurance, seat selection, and upgrades.
- Stay updated on travel trends, fare rules, and supplier policies.
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GDS (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of international and domestic travel regulations.

Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Travel & Tourism qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant.
- GDS certification preferred.
- Corporate travel experience will be an advantage.
