Job Description

Travel agency is looking for a a Head of Business Development

• To manage the new business sales strategy
• To achieve new business targets
• To manage end to end sales strategy in agreed sectors
• Ensure that such budgets are achieved
• Manage the onboarding of newly acquired clients
• Attend regular monthly product presentations, Finance & Administration and Operations meetings as and when required

Required Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.

At least 10 years sales/account management experience within the travel industry.

At least 2 years previous experience in a customer relations position within the travel and tourism industry.

Excellent presentation skills, negotiation and relationship building skills with strong commercial awareness.

Minimum four days per week in office

Attend meetings/functions and any other events as required.  After hours and weekend activities will be expected in this regard.

National and international travel will be required.

Attend all Management retreats.
