Travel agency is looking for a a Head of Business Development

To manage the new business sales strategy
To achieve new business targets
To manage end to end sales strategy in agreed sectors
Ensure that such budgets are achieved
Manage the onboarding of newly acquired clients
Attend regular monthly product presentations, Finance & Administration and Operations meetings as and when required

Qualification:

Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.

At least 10 years sales/account management experience within the travel industry.

At least 2 years previous experience in a customer relations position within the travel and tourism industry.

Excellent presentation skills, negotiation and relationship building skills with strong commercial awareness.

Minimum four days per week in office

Attend meetings/functions and any other events as required. After hours and weekend activities will be expected in this regard.

National and international travel will be required.

Attend all Management retreats.
