Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in Tourism, with at least 5 + years’ experience as a Senior Travel Consultant. 
• Galileo (SmartPoint), & Excellent knowledge of the GDS

General Details

Key Responsibility (Include the following – list is not exhaustive and other related duties may be assigned)

• Client consultation and sales.
• Advise clients on travel options including flights, accommodation, tours, visas and insurance.
• Handle bookings for complex I ternaries, group travel, and VIP clients.
• Bookings and Administration.  
• Make reservations using GDS (e.g. Galileo)
• Issue and reissue airline tickets, handle changes and cancellations and be willing to work overtime.
• Negotiate rate and competitive pricing for clients.
• Customer service.
• Manage travel documentation and ensure all bookings comply with regulations.
• Offer after sales support and handle complaints or travel disruptions.
• Build and manage long term client relationships.
• Team leadership and mentoring.
• Support junior consultants with training and daily inquiries.
• Share product knowledge and sales strategies with the team and reporting of targets.
• Problem solving skill.
• Experience in travel planning, tour operations, or a related field
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willing to work on Self Booking Tool
• Excellent customer service
• Support team members and Management
• Knowledge of inter-airline policies and endorsement procedures  
• Understanding and ability to interpret and explain domestic, regional, and international fare rules
• Basic knowledge in Word and Excel
