Job Description

• Effective management of Sports & Events Product, Pricing and Distribution
  functions and processes.
• Creation and implementation of the Sports & Events Product, Pricing and
  Distribution Plan, to ensure these functions and processes achieve the intended
  strategic outcomes of the business, as communicated by GM: Marketing & Product.
• Managing supplier strategy including negotiation and contracting of pricing, value
  adds and special offers.
• Conducting meaningful research to support product development, competitiveness,
  differentiation and customer requirements.
• Empowering and managing direct reports, to achieve the purpose of the position and
  ensure effective delivery of the principal accountabilities and responsibilities of the
  role.

Salary

Negotiable depending on experience

Required Qualifications

• 8 years+ tourism industry experience
• 3 years+ management experience
• Practical experience of Product Management within tour operator environment
• Experience within the Sports Tour Operating environment is advantageous
• Excellent global geographical knowledge and good knowledge of global sports
• A good knowledge of Sports tourism suppliers is advantageous
• Demonstrable ability to negotiate and contract with suppliers essential
• Demonstrable ability to conduct research, draw conclusions and implement
  findings essential
• Demonstrable ability to cost and create travel packages essential
• Advanced online marketing insight
