- Effective management of Sports & Events Product, Pricing and Distribution
functions and processes. - Creation and implementation of the Sports & Events Product, Pricing and
Distribution Plan, to ensure these functions and processes achieve the intended
strategic outcomes of the business, as communicated by GM: Marketing & Product. - Managing supplier strategy including negotiation and contracting of pricing, value
adds and special offers. - Conducting meaningful research to support product development, competitiveness,
differentiation and customer requirements. - Empowering and managing direct reports, to achieve the purpose of the position and
ensure effective delivery of the principal accountabilities and responsibilities of the
role.
Salary

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- 8 years+ tourism industry experience
- 3 years+ management experience
- Practical experience of Product Management within tour operator environment
- Experience within the Sports Tour Operating environment is advantageous
- Excellent global geographical knowledge and good knowledge of global sports
- A good knowledge of Sports tourism suppliers is advantageous
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate and contract with suppliers essential
- Demonstrable ability to conduct research, draw conclusions and implement
findings essential - Demonstrable ability to cost and create travel packages essential
- Advanced online marketing insight
