Job Description

• Dealing with enquiries, quotes and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide, with particular focus on the Middle East, South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean.
• Turning enquiries/quotes into bookings
• To offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements
• To maintain a high level of customer service at all times
• To achieve monthly sales targets
• To use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays
• To follow up on all enquiries made
• Cross-selling to alternative holidays
• To undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role

• Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo
• Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in the travel industry
• The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• To have a professional manner
• Customer-focused
• Experienced in selling travel products or services
• To have a basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems)
• Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations
• Target-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Organisational skills and ability to multi-task

• Prepared to work shifts.
