Job Description

 Handling all incoming travel bookings
To effectively and efficiently execute quotations on a daily basis
  • Understanding of local travel
  • Responsible for tailor made bookings
  • Book accommodation, transfers, car hire
  • Knowledge handling FIT's and Group bookings
  • Stay in constant communication with agents with regards to status of reservations, payment requirements, deadlines, and conditions of reservations
  • Arrange Meet and Greets as required
  • Documentation Management of all Reservations:
    • Itinerary planning and layout
    • Compile travel packs for clients
    • Vouchers
    • Rooming lists
    • Filing
  • Ensure that clients invoiced for all services and invoices provided to clients timeously
  • Manage payments and Account queries
  • Book tour guides services as required
  • Worked on Tourplan an advantage
General admin duties and adhoc tasks as allocated
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • High accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Customer oriented
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and after hours(overtime will be paid)

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4, Travel & Tourism Diploma or equivalent qualifications with at least 3- 5+ years’ experience as a Travel Inbound Consultant
  • International fares and ticketing certificate optional
