Job Description

A Tour Operator is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This entry-level position focuses primarily on accounts payable processes and general administrative support within the department. You will handle foundational financial tasks, ensure accurate data entry and maintain organized vendor records.

 Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry (Payables Focus): Accurately input incoming supplier invoices, expense claims, and related financial data into the accounting software.
• Vendor Management Support: Assist in processing payments to suppliers, verifying payment terms, and maintaining up-to-date vendor information.
• Clerical Duties: Maintain a digital and physical filing system for all accounts payable documents to ensure audit readiness.
• Inquiry Handling: Redirect vendor billing questions to the appropriate senior staff member and follow up as needed.
• Ad-hoc Support: Provide administrative assistance during month-end closing and annual audits.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma with a focus on Accounting or Mathematics. A Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of office experience. Internship experience in a finance environment is a plus.
