Tour operator requires strong Marketing Manager with good knowledge of the industry and experience in premium/luxury brand. Must have good digital knowledge/awareness.
Define and implement an efficient marketing plan with a true performance oriented mindset.
Budget set-up and achievement. Marketing action plan/material/being in line with the corporate brand guidelines / upscale positioning. Contribute to country strategic plan (product, client priorities, and roles of distribution channels). Coordinate local marketing and sales plan. Drive the implementation of the online and offline plans. Monitor business, recommend action plan adjustment. Drive the marketing budget according to budget and forecast decisions.
Drive online sales development and management of the local website :
Develop the Internet channel, develop the qualities traffic and conversion rate. Monitor Internet channel sales performance, recommend and implement action plans. Monitor Internet channel sales contribution. Supervise the monitoring of website performance, alert of performance and recommend improvements of the website.
Guarantee brand image & positioning, upscale strategy implementation and PR :
Ensure the worldwide implementation of strategic projects (advertising campaigns, etc.) Recommend, brief and then adapt creative materials to the needs of the local market. Select and manage the PR agency and journalists, organize participation to PR events and organize local PR events or press trips. Participate to crisis management implicating company in the media.
Ensure a referential role within the company for market, client and product knowledge :
Collect and analyse competition and customer’s data from the call center and indirect channel, and from marketing agencies. Ensure competitive intelligence, collect and buy regular market researchers. Analyse them to ensure a regular market follow-up. Consolidate, report and use the knowledge in the definition of the marketing and sales plan.
Provide trade marketing and sales tools to all sales managers & manage the marketing team and develop their competencies :
Training on product changes, new properties, renovation. Provide briefs on upcoming activities (media, communication, promotion). Assist with recruitment. Lead and follow up annual assessments. Develop team skills by identifying training needs, coaching and training team members.
700k – 800k per annum with Medical Aid and Retirement Fund. Performance bonus
University Master’s Degree.
5/6 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager in travel industry dealing with premium/luxury brand with strong business acumen. Excellent “digital awareness”.
