Remote – can be based anywhere in South Africa (primarily work from home, with occasional travel to Johannesburg and regional destinations)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Product Manager with a focus on Southern Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini, etc.) and East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, etc.). You will play a key role in developing, managing, and enhancing our tour products to ensure they remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with market demand.

Competitive basic salary: R40,000 – R60,000 per month (depending on experience). Attractive commission structure based on product performance.

General Details

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop new tour packages, itineraries, and experiences for Southern and East Africa.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and allocations with suppliers (lodges, camps, transfers, activities, and ground handlers).
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to keep products fresh and profitable.
• Manage the full product lifecycle: from concept and costing to launch, updates, and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners across the regions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support promotions and ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor product performance (bookings, feedback, profitability) and implement improvements. Occasional travel to destinations for familiarization trips and supplier meetings.
