Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant (or Junior Travel Consultant) to join our Company. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, enjoys working with people, and is eager to build a career in the travel industry.

The successful candidate will assist with creating flight bookings, selling travel packages, and handling a variety of travel-related queries while delivering exceptional client service.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Compile accurate quotes and issue domestic, regional, and international leisure travel bookings
• Create and manage flight reservations, accommodation, transfers, car hire, and travel insurance
• Upsell relevant travel products to enhance client experiences
• Liaise directly with clients via email, telephone, and in person
• Assist clients with changes, cancellations, and travel-related queries
• Ensure all bookings comply with airline rules, supplier terms, and duty of care requirements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bookings
• Stay informed on travel destinations, airline products, visa requirements, and industry trends

Required Qualifications

Minimum Requirements & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and grow within the travel industry
• Basic computer literacy; ability to work with or learn Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

General Details

Advantageous (Not Essential)

• Experience with or exposure to Amadeus or other GDS systems
• Previous experience in a travel agency or customer service role
• Knowledge or experience with Umrah or religious travel
• Sales experience or confidence in upselling travel products
