PURPOSE OF POSITION
The role is a consultative function in which the incumbent manages a portfolio of clients and compiles domestic, regional and international travel packages for corporate clients.
This position is responsible for the effective compilation of travel packages.

SALES
Ensure you and your team are prioritizing the right activities to increase the organisation sales:
- Client Experience Management
- Identify additional revenue streams for Rennies BCD Travel
- Provide sales leads where possible
- Upsell & facilitate value adding products
TECHNOLOGY
Effective adoption of new technology and ensure available technology is used for all deliverables and outputs:
- Effective usage and understanding of all systems and technology
- Adoption of technology – Sabre, RappUp, AGM, JIRA, OBT's, Papertrail
- Ensure 100% usage of automation through our technology platforms
- All documentation to be issued through RappUp / AGM automation including revalidations and voids
PROFITABILITY
Revenue Maximisation:
- Ensure that all unvalidated dossiers are validated and log any faults on JIRA
- Adherence to Client Policies / SLA and Contractual Supplier Agreements
- Supplier Relationship management
- Client Profile management
- Ensure vouchers raised for all services sold
- Determine needs and research potential solutions and options for the client
- Process bookings and issue documents
ASSET MANAGEMENT
Manage fixed asset register and/or trade and sundry debtors:
- 0% outstanding on cash sales
EXPENSE MANAGEMENT
Eliminate unnecessary financial loss by ensuring that correct operating processes are in place:
- Maximise utilization of preferred suppliers
- Manage refunds to clients
- Eliminate unnecessary financial loss
- Manage own costs and time

Required Qualifications
Required (not-negotiable):
- Sabre Red 360
- Diploma/relevant qualifications in Travel and Tourism
- General Travel Certificate
- 5 plus years’ experience in the retail travel industry
- Strong operational / travel systems experience, fares knowledge, staff management skills and can work within a fast-paced, busy environment
