Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Travel Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Galileo and Amadeus systems, with a strong understanding of ticketing, fare rules, and booking procedures. This is a dynamic and challenging role requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Galileo and Amadeus systems to process bookings and manage ticketing tasks.
- Ensure full understanding and adherence to ticketing/exchange policies, interline agreements, net remits, and IT fares.
- Manage BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of BSP protocols.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of fares, fare rules, and ticketing procedures.
- Effectively use SAM, AGM, and Fare Finder tools for ticketing and fare management.
- Operate various systems including Dashboard, Intranet, Internet, RightFax, email, and Frontdesk.
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of Client Files.
- Adhere to Amadeus and Galileo processes and procedures in all aspects of the role.
- Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Manage debtor’s accounts to ensure timely payments and maintain financial accuracy.
- Process bookings within a maximum of a 2-hour turnaround time.
- Handle refunds to BSP in a timely manner and in accordance with company procedures.
- Take responsibility for any ADM (Agency Debit Memo) issues within your area of accountability, ensuring resolution and minimizing discrepancies.
