Job Description
Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading marketing strategy, driving budget performance, optimizing paid media ROI, and managing the Digital Marketing Specialist. Must demonstrate proven experience with luxury leisure travel destinations in Africa, showcasing an ability to position high-end travel experiences to discerning markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & ROI: Develop and execute marketing programmes within budget, manage ROI, analyze and report on marketing activity, monitor sales goals and conduct competitive research.
- Paid Media: Lead and optimize Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, set targeting and testing strategies, and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Marketing Automation: Apply demand generation tactics, oversee HubSpot and automation, implement A/B testing, segmentation and reporting.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain vendor partnerships, collaborate with Sales, Reservations and Operations and provide clear communication on marketing performance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Digital Marketing Specialist, ensure brand standards, and lead team meetings.
- Content & Brand Oversight: Oversee marketing materials across all channels, ensure accuracy and consistency, and provide final copyediting.
- Events & Promotion: Plan, promote and support consumer and trade events.

Salary
R40 000 – R55 000 depending on experience
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in luxury travel marketing (Africa destination knowledge preferred)
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads with focus on ROI
- Experience with HubSpot, Wix, Google Analytics and CRM platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Track record of delivering campaigns that drive sales growth
- Experience managing or mentoring junior staff
