Job Description

We are looking for an intermediate to senior consultant to join our dynamic and growing team based in the Southern suburbs in Cape Town.
 

The company is B2B only, dealing with the local and international trade, and putting together tailor made itineraries and quotes for inbound and outbound travel requests, all around the world, as well as working in the Groups and MICE space.
 

The role involves everything that is needed to be done from initial enquiry and client responses, to dealing with the suppliers to get any quotes needed, to putting together the detailed quote, and then operating the trip when it comes time to the guests travelling.
 

The company works in the high end, luxury leisure FIT space, as well as the groups and incentive groups space, and lastly, also has an event management section, handling all conferencing, teambuilding and corporate requests.
 

We do have an admin assistant to help you in your role with all the general admin tasks needed.
 

There is plenty of opportunity to travel, both locally and internationally for the right person.
 

This is a varied role, there is always something new happening, and the right person will be dynamic and adaptable to anything that comes their way.
 

We often have last minute requests and tight deadlines – so being able to work well under pressure is one of the top priorities of this role.
 

Attention to detail is another vital skill when working in tour operations, so this is also a necessary skill for the role.

General Details

• Must have setup home office and ability to work from home efficiently
• Must have access to own vehicle and a valid drivers licence
• Must be able to travel, have a valid passport and be able to have nights away from home
• Must have a good sense of humour and be a positive person, with thick skin and able to work well under pressure
• This is not a position that will work for anyone who is a clock watcher, and it should be known from the start that work past 5pm or on weekends can sometimes be necessary
• The position will be hybrid – office based with work from home days which can be discussed
