Job Description
Consult with clients in order to compile quotes and issue domestic, regional and/or international leisure travel bookings, whilst delivering out of the ordinary client service. Upsell clients on hotels, car hire and travel insurance as needed. This role requires a deep knowledge of the travel industry and destinations across the globe as well as a passion for travel and aviation combined with a commitment to upholding a clear duty of care and a desire to create memorable experiences for clients.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Minimum 10 years travel industry experience in a leisure travel environment.
- Amadeus GDS Proficiency – at least 5 years’ experience and currently using Amadeus.
- Ability to thoroughly qualify an enquiry and build rapport with clients
- Ability to research and recommend products and destinations, accommodations and excursions that meets the clients specifications
- Strong destination, product and industry knowledge
- Ability to book and service NDC bookings through Amadeus NDCx and other providers eg Verteil and others
- Aptitude for internal IT and CRM systems (training will be provided on internal systems)
- Strong knowledge of International / multi-city fares
- Proactive approach to travel (e.g., flight schedule changes / airline grounding, weather / meticulous daily queue management)
- Anticipating client’s challenges and proactively solving
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
