Travel agency based in Johannesburg, specializing in providing exceptional travel experiences to individuals and corporate clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements.
- Manage and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate recording of revenue.
- Process commissions claims for travel agents and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate calculation and payment of commissions.
- Monitor and manage debtors and creditors, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debts.
- Load financial information onto QuickBooks, including transactions, accounts, and inventory, to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Load cashbook information onto Excel, including transactions, accounts, and reconciliations, to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and type salary payslips for employees, ensuring accurate calculation and payment of wages and benefits.

R16 000 negotiable depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Finance or accounting qualification.
- Proficiency in QuickTrav essential as well as either QuickBooks or Pastel
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
