Main Areas of Focus:
Prepare Quotes and proposals.
Communicate all tours and services quoted upon, within the Cruise Company with the Systems team to ensure rate collection for package building.
Booking ground handling services as per request from the Agents.
Hand over files to Operations within the specified time period.
Maintain and build strong relationships with Cruise Agents and other clients and suppliers.
Effective management of the Cruise Quotes and Proposals Team.
Quoting and costing of flight itineraries for all requests that originate from the Cape Town office.
Ensuring all Cape Town requests are received, and sent out timeously.
Manage the assigned Quotes and Proposal Consultants to ensure all processes and procedures are followed correctly
Assist with recruiting staff in line with Company guidelines.
Monitor all employee related documentation e.g. leave, rosters, schedules etc.
Conduct annual Performance Reviews with staff in line with Company guidelines.
Conduct regular staff / departmental meetings.
Immediately inform Systems of all services to be quoted for the Agent to ensure Rates are collected timeously.
Ensure that consultants prepare competitive quotations and include innovative itineraries for Agents
Ensure that consultants book all accommodation at the time of preparing proposal.
Ensure that consultants update the Accommodation tracker.
In conjunction with the GM, ensure that consultants set and maintain good margins for files.
Ensure that consultants adhere to all imposed appropriate deadlines.
Ensure that consultants process reservations for accommodation, sightseeing, meals, guide services, luggage handling and all modes of transportation required for each respective Shore Excursion, Overland Tour, FITs, Gala Events, Turn, Pre/post and any other type of movements.
Check margin reports – and follow-up with consultants regarding reasons for high/low margins, etc. Liaise with Systems & General Manager.
Update trackers and sailing schedules.
Request flight routings and provide agent with routings and costing's.

R20000 - R35000ctc depending on experience with medical aid, pension fund.
Qualification:
Tourism Qualification advantageous.
Inbound Tour Operating Experience in Quotes and Proposals for a minimum of 5 years.
Previous Groups, Incentives or Cruise experience is an advantage.
Previous supervisory / management experience is an advantage.
Experience in TS/Tourplan or similar system is an advantage.
Computer Literacy – Word/Excel/PowerPoint/ Email.
