Job Description
As the Senior Consultant/Team Leader, you will be responsible and accountable for the effective operational servicing of clients. For the client, you will provide a high touch travel service in a dynamic, culturally diverse environment. For the travel team, you will provide operational day-to-day support working very closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager. Focus on the strategic elements: People, Productivity, Profitability and Retention is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- SERVICE & SALES - Ensure that the team is focused on Client Experience Management. Prioritising the right activities to increase sales organically and identifying opportunities for additional revenue streams. Upselling and facilitation of value added products.
- TECHNOLOGY - Pro-active adoption of new technology to ensure that all deliverables and outputs are met. Effective usage and understanding of all systems and technology.
- PROFITABILITY - Maximise revenue opportunities by ensuring that processes are strictly adhered to.
- ASSET MANAGEMENT - 0% Outstanding on cash sales.
- EXPENSE MANAGMENT - Eliminate unnecessary financial loss by ensuring that correct operating processes are in place.
- PEOPLE - Taking accountability for your personal growth and development as well as mentoring & coaching junior team members. Living our brand values and promise daily.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Diploma/relevant qualifications in Travel and Tourism
- 5 plus years’ experience in the retail travel industry
- Proficient in all travel regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP and IATA)
- Excellent understanding of various elements of travel, including airline terms, international travel requirements, ticketing and fares, geography, destination, and product knowledge.
- Good staff management skills and can work within a fast-paced, busy environment.
