Job Description

To manage and further develop the company’s Southern Africa Contracting Department. The Contracting Manager has primary accountability for developing a service range at the best rates possible – effective Contracting systems, managing and improving trip profitability, contracting suppliers and improving supplier service. This role works closely with the Sales team to assist when building new itineraries and contracting services specifically to clients’ needs whilst supporting the Operations, Reservation and Finance team.

Required Qualifications

Qualification:

Undergraduate and graduate degrees would be an advantage.

Proven experience in contracting, pricing, sourcing suppliers and contract management.  Excellent negotiation skills.  Experience managing staff and leading a team.  Expert knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.  Excellent communication skills in English and preferably other local language.
