Flight controller
Source most viable flight solutions for group and FIT requests. Book group and FIT flights. Issue group and FIT flights. Maintain accurate and up-to-date flight list for group bookings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date flight recon for group bookings. Reconcile flight costs against BSP reports. Ensure that flights are billed correctly. Develop and maintain relationships with airlines sales teams. Monitor airline policies and update the team accordingly. Monitor airline sales promotions. Facilitate ad hoc breakaway requests (flights, transfers, accommodation etc.).
Admin controller
Admin liaison with Accounts department. Generate billing documents to Accounts. Keep up to date with funds received from Accounts. Ensure suppliers reflect correct event names/reference on their invoices. Load payments onto Admin Tool. Facilitate payments between Programme Managers (PM) and Accounts. Get POP from Accounts and pass on to PM. Follow up on outstanding payments from Accounts. On board new suppliers.
Team support
Book car hire. Book Point 2 Point. Travel with groups if/when required. Sourcing of gifts/travel items. Any other task relevant to the team’s VP as required e.g. assistance at the airport for group check in or packing of travel documents or collection of gifts/travel items from suppliers etc. Visa applications/information.

Qualification:
Matric as a minimum qualification.
Diploma in Tourism or related degree will be an added advantage.
Galileo Certificate.
Minimum 10 year’s recent experience in the travel industry, specifically in operations i.e. flight, FIT and group bookings.
Minimum 5 years’ recent experience sourcing, booking and issuing group flights.
Galileo proficient.
Experience working within the ICE (Incentives, Conferences & Events) teams.
