Handling of all bookings for Private Travel. Developing the creativity of itineraries. Focus on delivering excellence in customer service to Clients (speed of replies, accuracy and innovation). Ensure VIP’s receive appropriate attention. Build close relationships with all Agents, with International Sales Team and Internal Marketing Division. Ensuring high attention to detail and customer service is always maintained. Ensure that all reservations are being run at an acceptable margin and profit level.
Action the enquiries from the Agents / Guests for requested itinerary within 24 hours. Typing up documents for Agents / Guests. Ensuring all invoices are accurately raised at the appropriate time.
Ensure itinerary is logical and logistically accurate. Alternate nights. Reverse itineraries. Liaise with Agents / Guests as to best alternatives. Offer suggestions to improve the itineraries requested. Ensure that properties offered are appropriate. Maintain 24-hour turnaround times. Resolve problems. Attend Welcome Dinners/functions with Agents / Guests. Manage the emergency cell phone as per A/H emergency roster. Maintain a good Consultant/Office relationship. Maintain a good Agent relationship. Maintain a good Supplier relationship.
Handle proposals and front-end communication with Agents and Guests. Assist in closing sale of each request. Assist with logistical problems to accommodate bookings. Ensure timeous booking of touring services with Regional offices and Third Party Suppliers. Ensure response times are adhered to (24 hours).
Attend travel functions/trade shows as and when required. Meet Guests at hotel/airport as required ensuring that personal service is provided.
Report on all customer service issues (pre/post and during guests stay). Keep Sales Team appraised of any problems or files of importance. Assist with the implementation of conversion rate reporting.

Qualification:
Matric qualification.
6 – 8 years experience as Senior Consultant in inbound operator.
Reservations, handling Private Travel bookings in a tour-operating environment.
Having responsibility for developing own itineraries for Private Travel Clients.
Experience in, or exposure to, the European and American markets.
Teamwork.
Office/administration work.
Computer literate (Word/E-Mail/Internet).
