The position is responsible for focused functions including:

·         Monitor all bookings done online – Constantly monitor the travel monitor to make sure that there are no issues. For example, LCC payment failures/awaiting documents/refer to travel agent.

·         Log all booking failures/errors with the third-party technology provider (BOSS, Concur Travel, GetThere, Quadlabs), escalate and follow up.

·         Assist with all training, including consultant training on monitoring, offline approval, OBT and training for all Rennies Travel Online clients, especially new users.

·         Update any relevant team members when there are changes on the systems.

·         Day-to-day maintenance of all Travel systems – loading of Organisational Structures and Cost Centres.

·         Testing for any changes or new requirements that went live.

·         Stand in during meetings for the team when required.

·         Assist with implementation for changes, updates and new requirements, for example: loading preferred vendors and updating corporate deals etc.

·         Manage communication between internal departments and external parties.

·         Assist with profile related queries.

·         Assist super users with queries relating to online e.g. fixing errors on invoices that issued incorrect through automation etc.

·         Action Help Desk calls timeously.

·         Process service requests by using Help Desk functions to access and respond to user queries and problems in detail.

·         Help Desk log allocations.

·         Seamless opening/closing/moving procedures.

·         Use checklist and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.

·         Provide specialist knowledge to projects and clients.

·         Follow roll-out schedule and adhere to installation policy for new/enhanced products.

·         Ensure that company policies and processes which are relevant to Systems Support are adhered to.

·         Remain abreast of company policy changes and enhancements.

·         Provide a high quality professional service to both internal and external clients.

·         Timeous response to client needs.

·         Be accessible to clients.

Information and advice to clients to be of a high quality and accurate.

Required Qualifications

Qualification:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

Required:

·           Matric Qualification

·           GDS Certificate and experience – Galileo (required), Sabre and Amadeus – Advantageous

·           Smartpoint Experience

·           Minimum 3 years travel consulting experience

·           MS Office - Excel, Word

·           Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Advantageous (Nice to have):

·           Travel and Tourism Diploma

·           BidTravel Portal / LogiWiz

·           Rennies Travel Profiler

·           Set-up of OBT’s; for example: Rennies Travel Online, KDS, AeTm/Cytric, Concur Travel, GetThere, etc.

·           Technical Certification on one or more of the following OBT’s: KDS, AeTm/Cytric, Concur Travel, GetThere

·           Experience in a Call Centre / Telephonic Customer Support Environment.
