Summary: The Tour Specialist is responsible for designing, organizing, and managing travel itineraries for clients. This role involves coordinating travel arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring clients have memorable and seamless travel experiences. The Tour Specialist will work closely with vendors, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities: (Include the following – list is not exhaustive and other related duties may be assigned)
- Design and develop customized tour packages with the team
- Coordinate travel arrangements (accommodations, transportation, activities).
- Communicate with clients to understand travel needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information and advice on destinations and travel logistics.
- Establish and maintain relationships with travel vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors.
- Promote travel packages and tours to prospective client
- Manage various deadlines and payments timeously
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments.
- Prepare and distribute travel documents (itineraries, tickets, vouchers).
- Monitor client feedback and implement quality control measures
- Adhering to department’s administrative and operational matters
- Manage invoicing, billing, and financial reporting related to travel arrangements
- Travel with groups to provide on-site assistance and support.

Required Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus
- Experience in travel planning, tour operations, or a related field
- Approximately 5 years of experience within the travel industry, with a strong background in tour specialization
- Galileo proficiency is an advantage
