A strong, hands-on candidate with excellent people skills and proven management skills, to take on a role which includes both direct onsite client liaison as well as management of the Operations Team.
Must be experienced in inbound conference and incentive travel dealing exclusively with an international client base, organising meetings and incentive programmes throughout Southern Africa for 15 to 5000+ attendees.
Negotiable depending on experience
Matric, travel diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 10 years Inbound tourism industry experience, and a focus on conference and incentive travel is a definite advantage.
Good destination knowledge of South and Southern Africa is a requirement.
Be presentable and have exceptional written and verbal communication and people skills.
Be comfortable in the company of senior business leaders that are regularly hosted and interacted with.
Understand budgets and have a reasonable financial grasp.
Be comfortable in a pressured, deadline driven environment.
Some travel within Southern Africa is required.
