Be co-responsible for the country and sales contribution budget set-up and achievement. Be responsible for any marketing action plan/material/being in line with the corporate brand guidelines / upscale positioning. Be responsible for Country Marketing Budget. Leader of the “country marketing and sales plan” process.
Contribute to elaborating and recommending the country strategic plan (product, client priorities, and roles of distribution channels). Coordinate local marketing and sales plan. Elaborate and recommend the annual marketing plan on all disciplines (promotion, media, CRM) to support the upscale strategic and the budget objectives. Drive the implementation of the online and offline plans. Monitor business, monitor action ROI and recommend action plan adjustment. Drive the marketing budget according to budget and forecast decisions.
Recommend appropriate action plan to develop the Internet channel, develop the qualities traffic and conversion rate. Monitor Internet channel sales performance, recommend and implement action plans. Monitor Internet channel sales contribution. Supervise the monitoring of website performance, alert of performance and recommend improvements of the website.
Ensure the worldwide implementation of strategic projects (advertising campaigns, etc.) Recommend, brief and then adapt creative materials to the needs of the local market. Select and manage the PR agency and journalists, organize participation to PR events and organize local PR events or press trips. Participate to crisis management implicating company in the media.
Collect and analyse pro-actively market, competition and customer’s data from the call center and indirect channel, and from marketing agencies. Ensure competitive intelligence, collect and buy regular market researchers. Analyse them to ensure a regular market follow-up. Consolidate, report and use the knowledge in the definition of the marketing and sales plan.
Provide appropriate tools to Sales Managers. Regular appropriate training on product changes, new properties, renovation. Regular and adapted briefs on upcoming activities (media, communication, promotion). Recruitment: recommend candidates to the Country Director and HR coordination director and make packages proposals. Lead and follow up annual assessments. Develop team skills by identifying training needs, coaching and training team members.
Coordinate the preparation and participate pro-actively in the weekly business review with other managers of the office. Pro-actively inform relevant managers of new media campaigns, promotional offers, product news to come.
700k – 800k per annum with Medical aid and Retirement Fund. Performance bonus
University Master’s Degree.
5/6 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager in an Internet company or FMCG with strong business acumen. Excellent “digital awareness”. Performance driven. Team management (evaluation, coaching, development). Analytical methods, creativeness, problem solving. Agility and pro-active mind-set to drive innovation. Ability to defend one’s opinions and move forward. Good time and multiple task management, ability to react quickly.
