Cambodia announces new tourist site

ANLONG Veng in northern Cambodia is to become the country’s latest tourist attraction. The site is the final Khmer Rouge rebel stronghold and international and domestic tourists will be able to find out about the last political leadership of the genocidal regime. This is one of many more planned tourist sites as the Cambodian Tourism Ministry continues to select places of interest to attract tourists to the area.

This is according to Travelinfo Plus (incorporating City Alerts), a unique reference tool and global travel advisory guide that warns and informs. City Alerts covers the latest travel tips and info for over 300 cities in 161 countries.
